My review is actually a bit premature considering that I haven't thoroughly tested the writing capabilities of the drive yet but the reading capabilities are good. The drive comes having a nice choice of Cyberlink software program, PowerDVD, PowerBackup, Power2Go, PowerProducer, InstantBurn, and so on. The BluRay capabilities will not be readily available until you install the Cyberlink software. But when installed I could play a Blu-Ray disc with out any apparent hiccup on my HP Pavilion laptop with only a Core 2 Duo 1.five GHz processor (and no dedicated graphics card).
